Rob Denton is a New York City-based lighting designer.  For the past twenty years he has been desigining musicals, plays and operas accross the country.   

Some of his recent design credits include: Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors (Off-Broadway), The Jerusalem Syndrome (Off-Broadway), The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Goodspeed Musicals); Dreamgirls, In the Heights and Anything Goes (The Muny) Lizzie and Fun Home (TheaterWorks).

Rob’s upcoming designs include: Disney’s Frozen (Maltz Jupiter Theatre) A Sherlock Carol (Capital Repertory Theatre); Jim Henson’s Fraggle Rock Back to the Rock Live (National Tour); The Lehman Trilogy (Capital Repertory Theatre)

Rob holds an MFA in Lighting Design from University of Maryland and a BFA in Theatre Design from Webster University.
